The press conference for China International Auto Products Expo (CIAPE) was held on Jun. 18th in Shanghai. Hosted from Oct. 19 to 21, CIAPE, the first show at the brand new National Exhibition and Conference Centre (Shanghai）is sure to attract attention from across the world.

According to Mr. Li Rengui, chairman of the organizing committee, CIAPE is based on the China International Auto Parts Expo, an annual auto show event that has been held in Beijing for seven years. This year CIAPE is moved to National Exhibition and Conference Centre (Shanghai）, Hongqiao Central Business District. With its exhibits expanding to the entire auto industry, CIAPE strives to adapt to mobile internet-based technological revolutions and aims to build a trade platform that promotes balanced growth of the auto industry. 

According to Mr. Wang Zhiping, secretary of CPC Committee of China Foreign Trade Center, director general of China Foreign Trade Center, the first phase of the four-leaf clover shaped exhibition project will be completed at end June, with its first exhibition about to fall on October 19. The complex will focus on professional exhibitions, among which Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition, the biennial event, will move to the center in 2015.
