ⅠThe purpose and significance

As the basis for the automotive industry, Auto parts market is an important factor to support the sustained and healthy development of the automotive industry. Auto parts manufacturing industry now develop vigorously. China has become the largest auto market in the world and almost all the major international auto parts enterprises have already entered the Chinese market. National auto parts enterprises are developing gradually. Looking into the future, with the development of China's auto market and the increase of Vehicle Population, the auto parts manufacturing industry contains more potential business opportunities.

Against this background, it is essential to make an inventory of the domestic and overseas auto parts manufacturers to select the best, the most advanced and excellent enterprises in the industry, to enhance the communication between auto parts and whole vehicles companies, to establish the image of the enterprise and of the brand and to improve competitiveness, through which we wish to lead the orderly development of the auto parts manufacturing industry and to offer help to the localization and internationalization of the enterprises.

To this end, relying on the authoritative media and the platform of the renowned exhibition in the industry, China Automotive News and the organizing committee of China International Auto Parts Expo will launch ‘hundred list of the comprehensive competitiveness of international auto parts enterprises’ and ‘hundred list of the comprehensive competitiveness of China automotive’. The lists will be announced at China International Auto Parts Development Summit Forum in the Great Hall of the People on September 12th 2013.

Ⅱ Election Rule

2.1 Evaluation Objectives：
Any auto components enterprise at home or abroad can participate in the selection ,which conforms to the following conditions :
① Take the auto parts Manufacturing as its main business.
② Has a good transparency in the statistical data of business
③ Has an independent corporate governance system and structure

2.2 Election principal

General principal:
① Able to reflect evaluation objectvie and evaluation purpose.
② Concise, clear and easy to understand
③ Practicality

The activity will follow the principles of the scale + efficiency in Industry segmentation to make enterprise competitiveness ranking. Mainly based on the takings the company declared last year , it should take the factors such as total revenue and output per head of every participating enterprise into consideration, give the competitiveness rankings finally with the Golden section method for quantitative analysis of the competitiveness of enterprises .

Specific principles are as follows:
Competitiveness of enterprise = main business revenue × 0.618 + main business income per capita × 0.382

2.4 Selection Process
Phase 1: enterprise reporting
The participating enterprises should submit valid application materials no later than 24pm on June 20th 2013.

phase 2 : Expert assessment
Based on the data the participating enterprises reports, the organizing committee will give the final rankings after organizing experts to review comprehensively the competitiveness of enterprises in market segments.

phase 3 : release publicity
The Organizing Committee will release it in Summit Forum of China International Auto Parts annually during the China International Auto Parts Expo .
