According to the organizing committee of China International Auto Parts Expo (CIAPE), the 6th session of International Conference on Policies and Regulations of Major Overseas Automobile Markets hosted by the twelve China National Automobile & Parts Export Bases and organized by China Automotive Technology & Research Center (CATARC) will be held during CIAPE, which will build a public service platform for China’s auto parts industry and boost “Going Out” of China’s auto parts industry. To fulfill the demand of accelerating the construction of the training and service platform for export and to implement the Adjustment and Revitalization Program of China’s Auto Industry and Circular on Promoting the Healthy and Sustained Development of the Export of China’s Auto Products, CATARC is carrying out the preparation work of the 6th session of International Conference on Policies and Regulations of Major Overseas Automobile Markets under the guidance of Ministry of Commerce, People’s Republic of China, Department of Mechanic, Electronic and Hi-tech and Coordination Division of National Development and Reform Commission.

The Conference has been held successfully for five years since 2008, which plays an important role in helping Chinese enterprises learn about the overseas markets and in guiding and supporting Chinese enterprises to implement the strategy of “Going Out”. During the last five session, 26 foreign experts from 17 countries and 18 Chinese experts introduced the auto markets, technical standards and regulations and certification regulations etc of over 20 countries and regions such as Russia, Brazil, India, South Africa, Australia, Algeria, Iran, North America, Latin America, Association of Southeast Asian Nations – ASEAN, European Union(EU) etc. Altogether more than 800 participants attended the conference. They were from Mechanical and Electrical Products Import and Export Offices of over 20 provinces and municipalities , the twelve China National Automobile & Parts Export Bases, related associations such as China Automotive Industry Association, Electromechanical Chamber of Commerce, China’s major auto export enterprises such as FAW, DONGFENG, Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation (Group), BYD, CHANGAN, SINOTRUK, CHERY,  GEELY, GREAT WALL, JAC, FOTON, KINGLONG etc and over 200 auto parts enterprises such as FAWER, WANXIANG, QIJIANG-GEAR etc.

As an important concurrent activity during CIAPE, the 6th session of the conference will be held from Sept. 13th to 14th at Beijing International Exhibition Center (old venue). The conference is an important measure taken by the organizing committee to serve the exhibitors of CIAPE and to help enterprises develop overseas markets. Experts on auto import and export from North America, ASEAN, Middle East, India, Brazil, Russia etc will be invited to introduce the latest development of the local auto markets and policies, technical standards and regulations and market entry certification system. The status quo of the international auto parts markets will be analyzed which paves the way for the internationalization of China’s auto parts industry.
